Patrick, Teen: “I didn’t want to do the program. I didn’t think I needed it but you can’t believe how much it helps. I thought it would be a big invasion of my privacy but that didn’t turn out to be the case at all because the camera only records if you do something dangerous. I got to a point where I never triggered it and my mom and dad were very impressed – they knew I had to be driving safely because there was nothing for them to see. It definitely works and I think it’s one of the best things my parents could have done for me.”

Dale Baldwin, Parent: “There is nothing more important you can do as a parent when it comes to helping your teen get as safe a start behind the wheel than to enroll in this program. Don’t kid yourself about how safe your teen is behind the wheel – you just can’t know and they can be having trouble out there that may end up killing them or someone else. This program helps you finish teaching your teen how to drive and allows you to reward them for doing well and to work with them on areas where they’re having trouble. It makes total sense, takes such a small amount of your time and if your teen is like our daughter, he or she will thank you for caring so much.”

Katie Baldwin, Teen:“The program helped me more than I ever thought possible. I’ve been in it for just over a year and the change has been dramatic. Looking back, I can see how over confident I was and how that put me at risk. I’ve learned things like how to stay focused, how to look for things out there that can cause you to get in an accident and I’m so tuned in now. I definitely recommend the program to all teen drivers.”

Lynda Kruse, Parent: “Knowing that he was a little bit more conscientious than the other teens, and that he was a good driver out there, was beneficial. When they are out late at night, it’s a little easier sitting home. You sleep a little better.”

Dan Brandt, Parent: “You can tell your teen that they took a corner too fast, and they would argue that they didn’t. But you can’t argue with a video. So from that standpoint alone it was that impartial third party that had no opinion. It gave the true facts.”

Richard D’Orazio, Parent: “I believe this has saved his life and anyone who rides with him. Flat out.”

Following too close, not looking ahead, and a fixed stare suggest this driver’s mind is elsewhere. His following distance is only .75 seconds rather than the 3-4 seconds recommended, especially in a construction zone. Brake lights ahead are visible for more than 3 seconds before the driver begins braking, even though he appears to be looking to the forward roadway.
