DriveCam's Vice President of Safety Services Presents at EMS Expo and Conference
Del Lisk, vice president of safety services at DriveCam Inc., presented a workshop on analyzing driver behavior at the EMS Expo and Conference Oct. 11, 2007, in Orlando, Fla.
EMS Expo is a training and learning opportunity focused on updating and improving clinical skills, improving individual and organizational performance, and viewing the latest equipment, products and services from national companies as they pertain to the emergency medical services industry.
During his presentation, Lisk highlighted how today's Driver Risk Management technologies are providing insights into EMS operators' driving habits and not only saving their organizations thousands of dollars in litigation fees, but also in extended brake and tire wear. In this session, Lisk showed how Driver Risk Management solutions and proper driver coaching are being used to curb risky driving habits before they lead to accidents, as well as prolonging the life of a fleet's vehicles.
DriveCam reduces risk by predicting and preventing risky driving behavior and has helped commercial and government fleets reduce vehicle damages, workers' compensation and personal injury costs by 30 to 90 percent.
