DriveCam driving risk analysts recently analyzed data from events involving intersection collisions from the previous four years and determined that more than 75 percent of them could have been avoided if drivers were more visually attentive and applied the following fundamental driving rules:
- Look left-right-left before crossing
- Come to a complete stop at a stop sign and look before proceeding
- Look farther ahead
Don't become complacent and put yourself at risk. Always practice safe driving and remain visually attentive, especially in and around intersections.
