Doug Clemmans Joins DriveCam as Head of Worldwide Sales
As DriveCam continues to grow and meet the needs of our continually growing client base, we're happy to announce the appointment of Doug Clemmans as vice president, worldwide sales.
Clemmans joins DriveCam with nearly 20 years experience in the sales and marketing of high-tech products. In addition, he has extensive and practical experience in selling, as well as building and leading successful sales organizations. He gained senior-level sales and management experience with industry leaders including SAP America, Siebel Systems and Dun & Bradstreet, as well as venture-capital-backed start-ups. While at SAP America, Clemmans held the role of senior vice president of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) sales, where he was responsible for managing the national sales team that grew revenue by 230 percent and firmly established SAP as the market leader for CRM. He also managed sales for Siebel Systems, where he successfully launched the telecommunications vertical and grew revenue to over $100 million during his tenure.
His most recent role was as executive vice president and chief marketing officer for TeleTech Holdings, a $1.5 billion business process-outsourcing form. Previously, Clemmans held vice president of sales positions at two start-ups, Apriso and HeyAnita, and worked for Infinium Software. He is an advisor to two VC-backed companies, Newmerix and NewsGator.
