DriveCam Academy

This in-depth training course teaches essential techniques for leveraging DriveCam's Driver Risk Management Programs in your environment.

The DriveCam Academy is a one day course that provides advanced training on preventing collisions and reducing risk through the use of the DriveCam program. The course is taught by Del Lisk, DriveCam's vice president of safety services, and is designed to assist current DriveCam users as well as to provide further program knowledge for those considering implementing DriveCam in their fleet.

Course participants will learn essential steps for success and get to share strategies with other users:

  • Coaching tips and techniques
  • Monitoring program effectiveness
  • How to get the most out of your DriveCam software
  • Best practices for program success
  • Learn how to analyze clips like a pro-tips on spotting the important details in complex DriveCam video clips
  • How to develop fleet and safety policies based on the DriveCam program
  • Hear coming developments from DriveCam

Seats are limited, so participants are asked to register early. Cost is $275 per participant, with a 10 percent discount for three or more attendees.

As part of DriveCam's Safety Services team, I have had the pleasure to visit many of the fleets which manage the 35,000 vehicles using DriveCam equipment. Although each fleet is different, there are common steps many of the most successful organizations have taken to make best use of the DriveCam Driver Risk Management Solution and reduce traffic collisions. I've chosen COACH as an acronym to highlight these steps because these fleets have positioned the program as a management tool designed to coach drivers and foster driver behavior improvement as opposed to a tool used to penalize drivers.

Case Study: Empire International Ltd.
