DriveCam Inc. Vice President of Safety Services Presents at FedFleet 2007

Del Lisk, vice president of safety services at DriveCam Inc., presented a workshop, titled "Improving Driver Performance," at FedFleet 2007 on July, 26, 2007, in Orlando, Fla. FedFleet is an annual training opportunity focused on topics related to the management and operation of the entire federal motor vehicle fleet of nearly 600,000 vehicles.

Del Lisk, vice president of safety services, presents 'Monitoring Driver Performance' on Thursday, July 26, 2007, at the annual FedFleet Workshop 2007.
Lisk outlined the current state of traffic safety, noting that more than 43,000 people are killed and $245 billion wasted as a result of vehicle accidents each year. He commented that while traditional fleet safety efforts rely on lagging indicators - often targeting drivers for coaching after an accident has occurred - Driver Risk Management solutions enable fleets to identify and reduce risky driving behaviors before they lead to a collision. Lisk offered the United States Marine Corps Western Division and a national emergency medical services fleet company as case study examples of two DriveCam clients seeing reductions in vehicle damages, personal injury and claims costs as a result of implementing the DriveCam solution.

DriveCam reduces risk by predicting and preventing risky driving behavior and has helped commercial and government fleets reduce vehicle damages, workers' compensation and personal injury costs by 30 to 90 percent.
