DriveCam offers several different options for acquiring and accessing risky driving video event clips. Our Managed Services program takes care of all of the day-to-day Driver Risk Management program details for you (hardware, software, IT infrastructure, program management and expert event review) so you can focus on your core business and ensure continuous improvement of fleet safety while reducing property damages, workers' compensation and personal injury costs by more than half.

With Managed Services you get:

HindSight 20/20 Software
Current Release: HindSight 20/20 v5.4.1
HindSight 20/20 is an event management system that enables you to administer DriveCam's Driver Risk Management Program within your organization. With HindSight, you can oversee events throughout their lifecycle from the time that events are captured by event recorders, downloaded into the system, analyzed by reviewers and used to coach drivers. HindSight 20/20 also assists with monitoring and reporting on driver performance, group performance and the health of the overall system

The latest version of HindSight 20/20 provides the ability to:
  • Add speed, heading and location through GPS*
  • Automatically match drivers to events with DriveCam's RFID system*

If you are on HindSight 4.0 or earlier and want more information on the advantages of the new 5 Series in combination with the new video event recorders, contact your sales representative.

Technical Requirements:
The hardware and operating system requirements for HindSight 5.4.1 have not changed appreciably from HindSight 5.3. The inclusion of Microsoft® DirectX 9.0c as a prerequisite increases the HindSight Client and DriveCam Event Player's hard drive requirement to 300MB of available disk space. Microsoft DirectX 9.0c is distributed as part of the HindSight 20/20 installation.

DC3 Hardware
Current Release: DC3

A new firmware version is now available for all DC3 Video Event Recorder models. This new version includes the following:
  • Wi-Fi and CDMA cellular download options
  • Added support for speed and vehicle idling through OBD
  • Added support for speed, heading and location through GPS
  • Added support for driver identification using the RFID readers and cards
  • Added other quality improvements to enhance the robustness of the DC3 platform
  • Updated hibernation functionality
  • Updated accelerometer trigger thresholds
  • Combined Wi-Fi and cellular functionality in a single firmware package

DC3 Firmware Releases
DriveCam's current firmware release is 3.20. Managed Services clients receive firmware updates automatically. Self-managed clients should contact Technical Support to get this critical update.

DriveCam Web Interface System Requirements
With DriveCam Managed Services, you get the ability to review all of your event clips online, anytime, anywhere - all at no additional fee. In addition, your set up is quick and easy with no software to install. Just use Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x or higher.

With all event clips online, coaches can meet with drivers whenever, wherever they want. They get instant access to the events they care about the most, when it is most convenient. In addition, the new filter and query capabilities make it easier to quickly locate the information coaches want and get to the root cause. They can focus on the most critical events that need attention and get right to the important events via easy-to-spot overdue indicators.
