IT Engineer
The IT/Windows Engineer ’s role is to optimize Windows servers and related components to achieve high availability and performance of the various business applications supported. This includes designing, installing, configuring, administering, and fine-tuning Windows operating systems and components across the organization in a timely and efficient manner. In addition to supporting the server OS and hardware the Systems Administrator will implement and sustain the various Infrastructure Applications that support the core foundation of IT. Infrastructure applications are currently defined as Exchange, Active Directory and Domain Services, Anti-Virus, Backups, Citrix and numerous other applications that assist with the management or foundational support of the IT infrastructure such as Nagios and open source products.
